REI’s Best Cyber Monday 2023 Deals Start at Just $11 and Include Brands Like Columbia, Keen, and Hydro Flask

Cyber Monday has ventured to REI just a week after its huge outdoor gear sale that saw prices slashed on everything from Danner hiking boots to packable tables. But the brand has doubled down this time, holding a week-long holiday sale until Dec. 4 with discounts of up to 50% on select categories that feature brands we love, like The North Face, Keen, Hydro Flask, and many more.

REI Co-op brand products play a big role once again, but this time, the brand is halving the price of all its popular Magma 850 Down Hoodies and offering 40% off all its fleece clothing and rain jackets, among other items. Also present in this sale is a ton of snowsports gear for all types of skiing, snowboarding, and even snowshoeing.

Another surprise in the REI Cyber Week sale is the discounts on REI Co-op Experiences, which gives members 10% off select adventures to places like Zion, Alaska, and the Grand Canyon.

This sale couldn’t have come at a better time for those seeking gifts for their explorative loved ones. Prices have been slashed on many big-ticket gift items, even roof racks, that will help you save a few shekels on their expensive hobbies. Conversely, REI’s Cyber Week sale has many great apparel and accessories gifts under $50 that anybody would be thrilled to receive.

After Men’s Journal shopped REI’s Cyber Week sale, these are the best deals we found that are worth consideration. Some products are only available on sale for a limited time, but REI has indicated when those deals will expire on each product page. 

The Best REI Cyber Monday 2023 Clothing Deals

There are over 1,600 styles of men’s clothing discounted during REI’s Cyber Week sale. Brands like The North Face and Outdoor Research are hitting the hardest, accounting for about 15% of all the discounted products. REI Co-op brand clothing is also a great target during the sale with some of its most popular jackets and base layers on sale for up to 50% off.

One big new category on sale for Cyber Week is snowsports and cold weather clothing. This includes anything from ski and snowboarding jackets to what you’d wear to commute during the winter or shovel out the driveway.

We also found one of our favorite denim brands, Duer, at 25% off. Duer is a brand that makes quality, stretchy denim with a hidden gusset under the crotch that increases the amount of space in the seat. These jeans are ultra comfortable, as are the brand’s chinos and shorts. 

The Best REI Cyber Monday Gear Deals of 2023

The Cyber Week gear deals at REI are looking rather cold but in the best way possible. Snowsports and cold-weather adventures are here, and right now is the best time to score a discount on what you may be gearing up to buy anyway.

Brands like Black Diamond, GSI Outdoors, and Marmot have hundreds of items from 25% off ready to go for all kinds of camping and hiking. In the skiing and snowboarding worlds, the best brands to watch out for are Smith and Dakine (for a limited time) for great prices on goggles, helmets, and storage bags, among other items.

Also making a splash in the gear category, but only on Cyber Monday, is Thule. Thule makes some of the best car racks and roof boxes for storing bikes and packing gear for trips. These are big-ticket items, so if you’ve been thinking about investing in one, now is the time to pull the trigger. 

The Best REI Cyber Monday Footwear Deals of 2023

The footwear deals during REI’s Cyber Week sale aren’t as abundant as those on clothing and gear, but there are still a handful of gems to choose from. There’s a great mix of hard-wearing styles, like hiking boots, trail runners, and winter boots from brands like Keen, Salomon, and The North Face up to 50% off. There are some men’s slippers and sandals on sale too, but this sale seems to focus more on the seasonal here and now.

The biggest pop in footwear will happen on (and only on) Cyber Monday. Keen’s bestselling hiker, the waterproof Targhee III, will be 50% off—a major deal on one of the best affordable hiking boots for men.
